Follow Your Bliss

Completed. Each square is 5.5 x 5.5 inches. Black ink, BFK Rives paper.

Tonight while I was in the print studios, it reached a point where I had to wait twenty minutes to expose some paper. Not many people…having my camera…result: finally getting around to photographing some of the work that I’ve produced in the past three weeks. Since the first assignment, my theme immediately changed to ‘tangle/tangled.’ (Since then it’s actually evolved into something more specific, but baby steps!) In light of that change, this assignment was to create an accordian-style book that was monoprinted and was relative to our theme– so two silhouettes, a boy and a girl, tangled with each other…via her braid.

The past few weeks have been a flurry of coffee, late dinners, and lots of studio time…I’ve even been spending quite a bit of time in the library unlike last semester. After my art history midterm next week, I want to try to make a more conscious effort to update, but, of course, follow me on Twitter for faster updates (: Have a good rest of the week!
